A recent Maryland Court of Appeals decision (Tracy vs Solesky) placed "strict liability" standards on folks who are in these categories. Strict liability is defined as "liability imposed without fault or negligence."

In other words, if your pit bull or your tenant's pit bull bites someone or something, you are liable... period.
